This workshop was developed by Ricardo O’Nascimento (BRA) Gilberto Sparza (MEX), Javier Busturia (ES), Jnigni Wang (CH) and Jelle Decker (NE) as an output of the interactive sound installation “Plantas Parlantes”.
During this activity the participants are invited to bring different plants and play with the sounds they generate. We are gonna build together a simple electronic circuit composed by an oscillator (to generate sound) and a variable resistance that creates sound.
Each plant produces a different sound and through experimentation we will discuss issues like: human x nature connection, ecology, urban gardening techniques and basic electronics concepts.
This workshop is especially fun for kids and adults.
Perfect Family activity!
